Content creators have evolved, and the tools used to capture engaging photos and videos have evolved alongside them. The blending of photo and video into "hybrid" mirrorless systems. The adoption of smartphones and vertical video. The need for rapid results or even going live. All these examples have brought us to a world where content creators need more versatility, speed, and simplicity to nail their shots and all those descriptors can be used on the Manfrotto One Tripod-a tripod purpose-built to satisfy both the photography and video needs of a modern-day content creator.

An All-in-One Solution

The Manfrotto One combines features found on both stills-centric and video-focused tripod systems to deliver a single support system that can be used to either capture stunning photographs or cinematic video with ease. This comprehensive set of features will make it ideal for professional hybrid shooters who need both and will benefit from streamlined setup and fast transitions between the two operating modes.

Xchange System

Built directly into the One tripod is the Xchange system for instantly swapping out heads, sliders, and other accessories. Xchange is an advanced quick release system with a simple twist-lock mechanism for releasing or locking a compatible tripod head or accessory. And, with the availability of optional plates with a 3/8"-16 mounting screw, most heads and other support systems can be made to work directly with the One tripod. Just drop the device onto the Xchange platform and it will lock in place.

Leveling Column & Q90 Mechanism

Found mainly on video-centric tripod systems is a leveling ball or base, the One brings this technology to a hybrid tripod with a unique leveling column. A lever on the One will make it quick and easy to level your camera when shooting stills or video.

This column is designed to be versatile as well with a quick detachable section that makes it possible to quickly move the tripod to a ground-level working height of just 7.5". Being a standard column, it can, of course, also be used to extend the overall height of the tripod to a tall 67.1" for overhead shots.

Capture overhead shots with ease thanks to Manfrotto's Q90 mechanism. Seamlessly shift the center column into a 90-degree position for easier photography.

Easy Link

Manfrotto also integrated an Easy Link thread onto the One tripod. This attachment point supports accessories, such as arms, and has anti-rotation points for compatible support systems

Xtend Leg Locking Mechanism

The three sections of each leg on the One tripod are designed for quick setup with the Xtend locking mechanism. The single, large lever lock located at the top of each leg unlocks and locks all sections simultaneously-no more messing around with multiple locks on each leg.

Custom Design & Modular Feet

While standard with rubber feet, the One's feet can be removed to reveal spikes for more stable shooting in certain environments.

Moving from more conventional round leg sections, the Manfrotto One uses a custom non-rounded shape that provides additional rigidity against multiple types of flexing.

Designed for Hybrid Professionals

Being the One support a content creator may need to shoot both stills and video makes this tripod an ideal choice for modern-day professional and their versatile mirrorless camera rigs. It packs in numerous features, both classic and novel, that will simplify and speed up productions and give creators exactly what they need-more time to focus on their craft.

Precision & Versatility for Content Creators

Designed to meet the needs of modern content creators, the Manfrotto 500X Fluid Head bridges the gap between stills and video technology to create an all-in-one solution for both photography and filmmaking.

Quick Switching Between Landscape & Portrait

The 500X's highlight feature is the ability to quickly change from landscape to portrait orientation without having to remove your camera. This is ideal for creators who often need to capture different formats for their project and social media posts. It will support many common hybrid camera rigs weighing up to 4.99 kg.

Smooth Movements

Featuring a Fluid Drag System (FDS) for both pan and tilt movements will help guarantee smooth, professional-looking video. There is also a built-in Counterbalance System that will help provide more control over your camera system.

Xchange System

As for mounting, the 500X is optimised for speedy changes-making it a breeze to swap out your tripod head for a slider or other support system. This is thanks to the Xchange mount system that offers a secure quick release mechanism for the head. The 500X will also work on any tripod legs that support its 60mm flat base with a 3/8"16 thread.

Additionally, the 500X has some basic conveniences, such as a standard 501PL-compatible quick release system for your camera and a built-in bubble level to ensure straight horizons.
