Bright Tangerine Universal Extended Manfrotto Dovetail

Easily balance and switch your camera between gimbal and tripod setups using the Universal Extended Manfrotto Dovetail from Bright Tangerine. Designed for use with the LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate and standard Manfrotto 501PL baseplates, this lightweight aluminium dovetail plate features a generous fore/aft balancing range and a front slot for mounting a lens adapter support. Pair it with a Manfrotto riser and a LeftField Universal baseplate to raise your camera to 15mm LWS height.

The center slot features a sliding screw shuttle, so the camera can be balanced and adjusted without moving the plate. It also features a wide platform design and etched markings for presetting the balance.

Compatibility

The dovetail mounts onto a camera of your choice and lets you quickly switch between the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate with the Manfrotto riser, handheld, and other compatible receivers and accessories. It uses the Manfrotto 501PL standard, allowing it to be loaded directly onto compatible receivers and gimbals without needing to change camera plates. The extra length provides ample room for balancing and adjustment.

Flexible Mounting

Using the three captive screws on the captive shuttle, the camera can be securely mounted with no twisting or movement. The channel allows the camera to be balanced on the plate. The extra-wide platform provides added stability and removes flexing.

Accessory Support

Lens adapters can be secured using the front channel and supplied screws.

Balance Markings

Laser-etched markers along the length of the dovetail let ACs mark down balanced positions on the gimbal.

Machined and hand-finished from high-grade materials, it is hard-anodized for extended durability.
