Variable ND for Perfect Exposure

This camcorder features Sony’s built-in electronic Variable ND Filter, allowing seamless control of filter density from ND 1/4 to ND 1/128. The ND filter can be adjusted manually, automatically, or in preset steps to achieve perfect exposure under varying lighting conditions.

Interoperability with Cinema Line

The HXR-NX800 is designed to work seamlessly with broadcast cameras or Sony’s Cinema Line cameras. It offers a variety of base looks, including 709tone and ITU709 for broadcast cameras, and S-Cinetone and S-Log3 for Cinema Line cameras. For HDR content, it supports HLG Live, HLG Mild, and HLG Natural.

Active Mode Image Stabilisation

Active Mode image stabilisation is integrated into the HXR-NX800, reducing camera shake even when recording footage while walking. This digital stabilisation minimises distracting shakes and bumps, ensuring smooth and professional-quality video.
