SmallHD 702 Touch/Cine 7 Backplate

This SmallHD Backplate for 702 Touch & Cine 7 is a cover that protects the electrical contacts of your monitor. This backplate installs in place of an optional battery plate and is useful when you power your 702 Touch or Cine 7 monitor from the power connection. In addition to protecting your monitor's electronic connections, preventing damage or shorting, the backplate weighs about 4.25 ounces, which is about one third the weight of an optional battery plate (without batteries).

The backplate's lightweight construction makes it an inviting option when you are shooting on a handheld or with a stabilized rig and planning to power your monitor via a power connector instead of batteries. The backplate also provides some heat dissipation capability, helping to keep your monitor cool.
