Compact and light-weight design

The Samyang 85mm F1.4 AF lens offers crystal clear image quality with minimised distortion and aberration. With such a feature, the all-metal construction lens only weighs about 485g and measures 7.2cm long without its hood and rear cap. Attaching the lens to your Nikon DSLR makes it perfect especially when you’re on the go. It is also compatible with full-frame sensors or APS-C sensors, where it will provide a 136mm equivalent focal length.

Quiet Auto Focus performance

Samyang likes to push it further with their advanced technology systems. This telephoto prime lens offers very fast, accurate and quiet auto focus performance with Dual type Linear Supersonic Motor (LSM). The AF 85mm F1.4 lens has a minimum focusing distance of 0.90m roughly 5cm. It is ideal for a variety of shooting situations – portraits, outdoor, pets and more.

Rounded nine-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh

If bokeh is a huge part of your photography style, the 85mm F1.4 AF EF-mount has a nine-blade diaphragm which produces a smooth shallow depth of field and beautiful bokeh.

Weather sealing

The Samyang 85mm F1.4 AF EF-mount lens wants you to maximise how you use it throughout your photographing experience. For a more stable shooting and extended lifecycle, the lens is protected against dust and moisture.

Ultra multi-coating (UMC) adoption

One of the pros of having a UMC built in your lens is the increased clarity and sharpness by reducing lens flare and ghosting. Through this, your photos come out with minimised unnecessary reflection of light. Such technology has proved to control the light transmittance to express an accurate colour.
