Rode PodMic Dynamic Podcasting Microphone

The Rode PodMic Dynamic Podcasting Microphone is designed for podcasters looking for the right mic to bring professional-quality sound to their productions on YouTube, FaceBook, Twitch, and elsewhere. The cost-effective, low-profile, broadcast Rode Podmic XLR microphone is optimised for speech and can be plugged into a wide range of pro audio gear including the RODECaster Pro Podcasting Studio, which it complements perfectly.

The PodMic's dynamic, cardioid, the front-address capsule is ideal for podcasting because it does a great job of picking up the speaker sitting close to the mic while reducing unwanted sounds that are further away or off to the sides. An integrated pop filter effectively reduces distracting breath and plosive noises (as in "p" and "b" sounds) without the need for an unsightly external pop filter. The capsule voicing is tailored to deliver an intimate, up-close, broadcast-style sound that's still rich and deep but with less of those annoying low-end thumps and thuds.

For optimal positioning, the integrated, adjustable swing-mount is designed to attach to a mic stand or, even better, a broadcast boom arm like the PSA1, while the internal shock mount helps to isolate the PodMic from handling noise and vibrations. No power is required to operate the PodMic, and its rugged, all-metal chassis delivers a classic broadcast look with a low profile that lets your talent be seen as well as heard.

Find Your Voice and Own It

The PodMic is a broadcast-grade end-address microphone optimised for streaming, podcasting and other speech applications, such as voice-over recording and gaming. It features an in-built pop filter, making it easy to achieve that classic 'radio' sound heard on the world's best podcasts, and an integrated swing mount, allowing you to position your microphone exactly where you need it to be. Find your voice with the PodMic.

Broadcast Sound, Broadcast Ready

The PodMic is a broadcast-grade end-address microphone that delivers exceptional sound quality for any speech application, from livestreaming on Twitch to recording a professional podcast. Featuring a high-quality dynamic capsule, the PodMic captures every detail of your voice with richness and depth, with a tight cardioid polar pattern offering superior room noise rejection. This ensures excellent performance in less-than-ideal recording environments, keeping you in the spotlight.

Sleek Looks. Built to Last

The PodMic offers sleek looks with a compact form factor that makes it the perfect addition to any podcasting and streaming setup. And its hard-wearing stainless steel mesh grille and robust all-metal body ensure it can take on the rigours of recording for the long-haul. Built like a tank is an understatement.
