Superb Close-up Performance

With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.74m at 300mm* the lens offers a maximum magnification of 0.5x, enabling you to zoom in on small objects to faithfully capture details, textures and colours in the most intricate subjects.

Beautifully Rendered Bokeh

The newly designed 11-blade circular aperture diaphragm offers an impressive rendition of out-of-focus areas at wider apertures, and detailed, eye-catching starbursts when shooting concentrated light sources such as the sun with a narrower aperture setting.

O.I.S for Ultra-Sharp Photos and Super Steady Video

The 70-300mm lens features Dual I.S 2 compatibility, offering optical image stabilisation across 5-axis of movement. Its 5.5-stop compensation improves image sharpness in photos and reduces camera shake in the video for razor-sharp, professional-quality results.

Dust, Splash and Freeze-resistant Design

Let the rugged construction of the LUMIX S 70-300mm lens inspire you with the confidence to keep shooting. Its dust and splash-resistant construction* complement the weather sealing in our S Series cameras, allowing you to shoot in dusty, wet or cold environments with peace of mind.

Ultra-fast, Video Compatible Autofocus

The lens offers fast, accurate autofocus and smooth aperture changes, equipping the modern content creator with the ability to shoot ultra-sharp photos and cinematic quality video, even in varying lighting conditions.

Optimised Lens Construction

The S-R70300 Lens construction delivers true-to-life detail, despite its compact size. The 70-300mm lens features 17 elements in 11 groups including 2 ED, 1 UED and 1 UHR lens elements to minimise aberrations and deliver maximum detail with faithful colour reproduction.

S-R70300 MTF Chart

Offering outstanding sharpness and resolution throughout the entire zoom range, the 70-300mm is ideal for the LUMIX full-frame system. It delivers maximum creative versatility in a compact, lightweight, rugged design without compromising on image quality.
