Moment - T-Series 1.55x Anamorphic Lens

The 1.55x Anamorphic T-Series Mobile Lens from Moment delivers a dramatic letterbox image with slightly more softness at the margins for a truly cinematic feel that is perfect for video. When compared to Moment's M-Series lenses, the T-Series features a 20% wider aperture, meaning you can work with high-res camera sensors at their full resolution.

This lens brings video to life in a way that spherical (non-anamorphic) lenses cannot. It works by squeezing the image horizontally at a factor of 1.55x to record a higher resolution onto the sensor. The image is then de-squeezed in real time using an app, such as Moment's Pro Camera app, or during post-production. The result is a 2.76:1 aspect ratio for videos and 2.35:1 (21:9) for photos.

Built using aerospace-grade metal, Moment designed this lens to be compatible with the iPhone 13 and later, Pixel 7 Pro and later, and Galaxy S22 and later. Included are a lens cap, a microfiber carrying bag, and a hex tool.

Features and Compatibility

Emulates 2.76:1 Cinemascope

Features Moment's T-Series interface with a simple twist-and-secure design

A 20% wider aperture vs M-Series captures full frame images without vignetting

Made with aerospace-grade metal and the same hand-polished glass used for high-end 4K film lenses

Larger glass elements for sharper on axis images and better low light performance

For enhanced imaging results, Moment recommends using the Moment Pro Camera app

Mounts over the Wide lens on your camera phone and over the Tele on some phones

Works with T-Series interface on iPhone (iPhone 13 and newer), Pixel (Pixel 7 Pro and newer), and Galaxy (S22 and newer) camera phones

Includes a lens cap, microfiber carrying bag, and hex tool

Get the Movie Feel - Now on Your Phone

Classic cinema in the palm of your hand. It's effortlessly cool with vintage-inspired flares and oval bokeh for added visual appeal your phone simply can't get on its own. It softens the tones to minimize the clinical sharpness you often see on mobile yet keeps the full picturelooking clean.

True Black Bars

Nothing fake here. Moment's anamorphic wide ratio enables authentic black bars for a really unique filmic look without the need to fake it in post-production.

Horizontal Anamorphic Flares

Effortless colored flares across direct light sources for a truly dreamy visual experience. All while using intelligently engineered optics; no filters or fake edits here.

Even Wider Scenes

Anamorphic lenses give your videos a cinematic look by turning your normal phone footage into a wider aspect ratio at the same focal length, allowing for far more of the scene to be captured in a single frame. Capture additional details your phone's native mode or Cinematic Mode can't.

1.55x vs. 1.33x

Wondering what squeeze to go with? Shooting on 1.55x gives you the most dramatic letterbox image with slightly more softness at the margins for a truly cinematic feel that is perfect for video. If you're looking for a tighter frame, check out the 1.33x lens, which delivers an all-terrain aspect ratio that works great for photo or video with less distortion at the edges.

User Friendly

Simply line it up, twist, and you're locked and loaded. It pairs nicely with our Moment case or universal mounting system for a seamless user experience.

Crisp from Edge to Edge

Moment's updated design delivers a beautiful dreamy softness while maintaining crisp range and detail with no unwanted vignetting.

Made from Aerospace Grade Metal

Moment lenses are always crafted with premium materials, ensuring the highest quality.

What Is T-Series Compatible With?

Moment expanded the T-Series to work with most iPhone, Pixel, and Samsung phones. They haven't tested the other Android phone models, but expect the T-Series to work with these phones as well by using their Universal Lens Mount.

Better with Pro Camera

Get more out of your anamorphic lens with Pro Camera for iPhone. Manually control all the details and live de-squeeze in the app.
