Metabones Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds T CINE Smart Adapter

Compatible with all MFT-mount cameras including G9II, GH7, GH6, GH5, OM-1, OM-D, Blackmagic Cinema Camera, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, and JVC GY-LS300, this adapter supports phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) on compatible bodies. It can be powered via the camera or an external 5V source (not included) and allows iris/aperture control directly from the camera. Smooth iris operation is supported with Canon (2009+), Tamron SP (2013+), and Sigma (2016+) lenses, along with image stabilisation (Canon IS, Sigma OS, Tamron VC) and in-body stabilisation (IBIS). Electronic manual focusing is available for select lenses, and EXIF data, distance, and zoom information are displayed when supported. Cinema EOS lenses, including CN-E 18-80mm T4.4 L and CN10x25 25-250mm T2.95, are fully compatible with AF, auto iris, and servo zoom (external power may be required). The adapter also supports Panasonic tele-converters (DMW-TC14, DMW-TC20, DMW-TC20A) and features an LED indicator to show operational status.

Featuring a patented positive-lock EF lens mount, this adapter ensures secure lens attachment while supporting EF-S lenses. The detachable tripod foot is compatible with Arca-Swiss, Markins, and Photo Clam ball heads, and internal flocking minimises reflections. A rubber gasket protects the MFT mount connection from dust and moisture, providing reliable performance for both studio and field use.

The CINE version is equipped with an extremely robust cine-style positive-locking mechanism to ensure that no play occurs during focusing. This is especially important when using EF lenses for cinema work.

Mark II Technology

Mark II Technology works by having additional data tailored for your lens, resulting in the highest performance possible with a lens mount adapter. Lens profile data of the following lenses are stored in your Speed Booster or Smart Adapter. The LED turns pink to indicate that a matching lens profile is found and Mark II technology is operational.
