The Leofoto NR-140D is a premium 140mm nodal rail designed for precision panoramic photography, macro work, and dynamic multi-axis shooting. Precision-Engineered for Panoramic and Macro Photography

Constructed from CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminium, the NR-140D provides a stable, vibration-resistant platform for forward/backward camera positioning. This is essential for achieving perfect nodal point alignment-a critical factor in producing seamless panoramic stitches and eliminating parallax errors.

The precisely laser-engraved scale along the rail allows for repeatable, accurate adjustments, making it ideal for macro shooters who need precise incremental movements or for panoramic shooters assembling high-resolution image sequences.

Lever-Release Clamp: Fast, Secure & Dual-Compatible

At the heart of the NR-140D is Leofoto's innovative hybrid lever-release clamp, engineered to support both Arca-Swiss dovetail plates and Picatinny rails. This dual compatibility is ideal for photographers or videographers working with mixed equipment or looking to integrate their photo gear with tactical or cine-style accessories.

The quick-release lever provides fast, tool-free locking and unlocking while maintaining a rock-solid grip. Whether you're adjusting your camera position in the field or switching gear in the studio, the clamp design ensures secure, reliable mounting with zero play.

Compact, Durable, and Built to Perform

Measuring 170mm in total length (with clamp) and weighing just 182g, the NR-140D strikes the perfect balance between lightweight portability and professional-grade rigidity. Despite its compact size, the rail supports substantial camera setups with confidence and is ideal for use with full-frame DSLRs, mirrorless systems, or dedicated panorama rigs.
