Precision Focusing and Imaging Range

With a focus range from 0.50 m to infinity, the lens is optimised for a wide variety of shooting scenarios. It delivers a smallest object field of 274 x 183 mm and a maximum scale of 1:7.6, making it suitable for controlled detail capture as well as general-purpose imaging. Focusing can be set to automatic or manual mode via the camera, ensuring flexibility for both fast-paced and precision-focused workflows.

Advanced Aperture and Autofocus System

The lens features an electronically controlled aperture system that is fully adjustable through the camera, including half and third-stop increments. It offers a minimum aperture of f/16 with an 11-blade diaphragm for smooth rendering. A precision voice-coil autofocus drive ensures fast, accurate and near-silent focusing performance, while maintaining consistency for both photography and video applications.

Durable Construction and Professional Integration

Built from aluminium with a black anodised finish, the lens is engineered for durability in demanding environments. It includes dust and splash water protection, a Leica L bayonet mount with electronic contacts, and an E67 filter thread for compatibility with professional accessories. The external elements are treated with Aqua-Dura® hydrophobic coating to resist moisture and contaminants, while firmware updates can be applied directly via the camera for continued optimisation.
