KUPO KCP-611 Foamcore Clamp Fits 16mm To 56mm Foamcore

The Kupo Foamcore Clamp is designed to securely mount foam core to a grip head. This foam core clamp is adjustable to fit foam with a thickness between 16mm and 56mm.

Foamcore is a lightweight, very strong material made with a dense polystyrene centre and covered with thick paper on both sides. White foam core is used as a sturdy reflector for the photo and cine industries. Even a large piece of foam core weighs little, making it easy to work with. Light reflected from the foamcore surface is soft and even.

Black foamcore is used as a flag, to block the light reflection.

The Foam Core Clamp includes two spike pins which are held captive with wires, to prevent their loss. The steel pins pierce the foamcore and secure the foamcore in place. The 10mm stud on the base of the foamcore clamp is then placed in a grip arm or any other 10mm receiver to be positioned anywhere as a reflector to bounce light or flag to block it.
