The ability to quickly pick up and put down a light stand without having to open and close the stand legs makes it easy and safe for moving around in crowded locations, such as weddings and events. It also reduces the chance of accidentally bumping into things or people around you. The rugged aluminum light stand with maximum height is up to 247cm (97'') with compact closed size 73.6cm (29'') also makes it easy for storage and transportation. The locking knob on the central column allows the legs to stay in position when required.
