High-speed, high-precision focus drive can be achieved so that fast-moving subjects can be captured without missing the desired moment. The use of a Stepping Motor (STM) achieves quiet and smooth AF during movie shooting.

Equipped with a control ring unique to the RF lenses offering customisable control over shutter speed, ISO or exposure compensation.
