Marked with the distinctive red line normally found on their professional lenses, the imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Professional 43.2 cm ireless Inkjet Photo Printer from Canon is designed to offer users wide format print sizes with deep blacks, detailed gradations, and a wide colour gamut that accurately reproduces even the most difficult colours. This printer utilises FINE (Full-Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology, and the 11-colour LUCIA PRO II pigment-based ink set creates prints with improved gloss uniformity and anti-bronzing, while the Chroma Optimiser enhances glossiness, flattens the print surface, and expands the colour range. The PRO-1100 also offers a print size up to 43.2 cm wide and can print borderless up to 43.2 x 55.9 cm as well as work with media ranging from 0.01 to 0.07cm thick.

Equipped with the L-COA PRO Image Processing Engine, the PRO-1100 can quickly and accurately determine printing paths and patterns in order to work as quickly and efficiently as possible. This enables bordered 43.2 x 55.9 cm photos to be created in just four minutes while Canon's Air Feed System helps prevent paper from being deflected so ink falls accurately and in the right place. Also, to expand on the capabilities of the LUCIA PRO II ink set, it uses high light-resistant inks for long-term preservation of printed images, plus improved scratch resistance, improved black density, and improved reproduction in blue-dark areas.

A 3.0" colour LCD is available on the front of the unit for easily viewing settings and making adjustments. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Ethernet, and Wi-fi 5 (802.11ac). Wireless printing adds compatibility with Canon's PRINT app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria for iOS and Android devices.

Anti-Clogging Technology and Compensation Function

Anti-clogging Technology is controlled using a fine print head that controls precise ink ejection. Ink nozzle conditions are precisely checked with sensors and when a blockage is detected, another nozzle automatically provides backup. In addition to preventing printing failures due to banding, this also reduces the frequency at which head cleaning is required.

Air Feeding System

The Air Feeding System prevents paper from skewing for accurate ink placement. It prevents the sheet in use from being deflected in such a way that the ink falls accurately and in the right place. This uniform level surface allows incredible ink drop accuracy and better image quality.
