Wooden Camera UMB-1 Universal Mattebox (Side Flags, Left & Right)

The Left & Right Side Flag Set from the Wooden Camera will mount on any Wooden Camera UMB-1 matte box without modification. The flag set includes two locking hinges, mounting hardware, and removable flags. The side flags extend the flare protection of the rigid hood of your matte box and can pivot on their hinges to make your matte box opening smaller.

Locking hinges and pivoting extensions allow you flexibility when keeping your lens free of light spill. The extendable flaps pivot approximately 60° and can be locked in position to meet your top flag (not included) and prevent gaps that might allow light to sneak past and flare your lens. Each lightweight flag features a flat black finish to reduce glare and reflection.

The included hinges mount to the pre-drilled mounting holes in you UMB-1 matte box.

The hinges feature a locking lever that allows you to position and lock the removable side flags so they do not creep into your shot.

Each side flag is easily removable from the hinge assembly, and just as easily reattached using the built-in thumbscrews.
