Handwheel Kit

This Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System Hand Wheel Kit comprises a FIZ handwheel controller, a lanyard, an ARRI rosette adapter, one 0.8 MOD gear, two focus gear rings, an electronic focus marking disk, five standard focus marking disks, a motor, 15 and 19mm rod mounts, 7-pin and D-Tap cables, and a soft-shell case that protects the system during transport and storage.

Familiar Ecosystem

This updated system features seamless integration with the first-generation Nucleus-M, eliminating any learning curve for existing Nucleus-M users. It retains the damping adjustment and menu shortcut layout of the original version.

Advanced Handwheel Control

The redesigned handwheel unit features adjustable tension, built-in lens mapping, and multiple display locations for focus, iris, and zoom information. Four integrated control methods-including the handwheel, rocker, slider, and dial-provide precise operation, while compatible cameras can also have settings such as white balance, ISO, and shutter speed adjusted directly from the controller. A larger 2.4-inch colour touchscreen offers fast access to key camera and lens controls, and the new electronic marking disk enables accurate focus pulls in low-light environments while remaining removable for traditional physical focus marks.

Professional Lens Motor Performance

Redesigned lens motors combine a compact form factor with high torque, making them ideal for handheld, gimbal, drone, and stabiliser applications. Powered by the new PID 2.0 algorithm, the system delivers an ultra-fast 0.02-second response time with smooth, delay-free adjustments. The modular motor design allows quick gear replacement, includes both 15mm and 19mm single-rod mounts, and supports control of up to four channels when paired with the handwheel. Compatibility with DJI RS stabilisers helps reduce setup time while maintaining precise lens control.

Four-Channel Wireless Control

The Nucleus-M II provides full four-channel wireless control, allowing simultaneous adjustment of focus, iris, zoom, and geared filters such as a compatible variable ND. This enables real-time exposure changes from a distance, making it well suited to complex gimbal, handheld, stabiliser, and dolly shots. Multi-operator support also allows teams to collaboratively adjust camera and lens motor settings for greater production flexibility.

Expanded Compatibility & Flexible Configuration

Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, the system is compatible with both Tilta and DJI ecosystems, supporting first-generation Nucleus-M motors, Nucleus Nano motors, and direct control of DJI lens motors via the built-in DJI RS protocol. The detachable handwheel and thumb module allow comfortable right- or left-hand operation, while optional ergonomic handgrips enable top-handle, handheld, or stabiliser configurations. Powered by widely available Sony L-Series type batteries, the handwheel offers long operating times, stores up to 128 presets for quick recall, and features power loss protection that preserves MARK points and RANG memory settings even after an unexpected power interruption.
