Add mounting points and quick release functionality to a Nikon ZR cinema camera without sacrificing mobility using this Full Camera Cage from Tilta. Offering flexible configurations, the cage can be used fully assembled or as an L-bracket with an ergonomic wooden grip and an Arca-type quick release baseplate, ensuring unobstructed access to buttons, ports, and the hot shoe in either setup. The cage sports multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads on each side for extensive accessory attachment, with 3/8"-16 threads and a top cold shoe receiver providing additional mounting options.

Built from durable aluminium alloy, the cage weighs just 0.139 kg as an L-bracket and 0.190 kg in total. The bottom plate attaches to the ZR via a 1/4"-20 screw, while the top plate screws into the bottom plate at two places and locks into the ZR at another, creating a safe and secure fit. The front of the baseplate features two M3 threads for Tilta's separately available ARRI PL-mount lens adapter support. Included are a multifunctional screwdriver that magnetically attaches to the bottom of the cage, a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 thread adapter, and a clamp for preventing the disconnection or damage of USB-C and micro-HDMI cables.

Extensive Mounting Options

Expand your creative setup with a wide range of integrated mounting points for accessories and support equipment. The cage features multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads, plus an included 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 thread adapter for enhanced compatibility. It maintains full access to the ZR's hot shoe while adding an additional cold shoe for convenient accessory mounting. A quick release Arca-type baseplate provides seamless compatibility with DJI gimbals, tripods, and other Arca-type receivers, while dual M3 front threads offer support for compatible lens adapters.

Convenient Modular Design

Designed to protect the ZR without compromising its compact form factor or portability, the modular cage adapts easily to both lightweight handheld setups and fully equipped production rigs. Two secure contact points between the cage plates, combined with a security block that locks into the camera's strap slot, ensure a stable and reliable fit. A comfortable wooden grip improves handling during extended shooting sessions, while the integrated cable clamp with thumbscrews allows fast, tool-free cable adjustments for a clean and secure setup.
