Tilta Camera Cage Pro Kit for Nikon ZR (Black)

The Camera Cage Pro Kit for Nikon ZR from Tilta combines their versatile Full Camera Cage with a variety of accessories, forming a dynamic cinema camera setup with professional functionality. The kit includes the cage, a Xeno top handle, a Xeno side handle, a height-adjustable Arca-type 15mm LWS baseplate, and two threaded 8" 15mm rods.

Tilta Full Camera Cage for Nikon ZR

Add mounting points and quick release functionality to a Nikon ZR cinema camera without sacrificing mobility using this Full Camera Cage from Tilta. Offering flexible configurations, the cage can be used fully assembled or as an L-bracket with an ergonomic wooden grip and an Arca-type quick release baseplate, ensuring unobstructed access to buttons, ports, and the hot shoe in either setup. The cage sports multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads on each side for extensive accessory attachment, with 3/8"-16 threads and a top cold shoe receiver providing additional mounting options.

Built from durable aluminium alloy, the cage weighs just 0.139 kg as an L-bracket and 0.190 kg in total. The bottom plate attaches to the ZR via a 1/4"-20 screw, while the top plate screws into the bottom plate at two places and locks into the ZR at another, creating a safe and secure fit. The front of the baseplate features two M3 threads for Tilta's separately available ARRI PL-mount lens adapter support. Included are a multifunctional screwdriver that magnetically attaches to the bottom of the cage, a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 thread adapter, and a clamp for preventing the disconnection or damage of USB-C and micro-HDMI cables.

Extensive Mounting Options

Designed for maximum versatility, the cage offers multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 female threads for securely mounting accessories, along with multiple 3/8"-16 female threads and an included 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 thread adapter for expanded compatibility. It maintains full access to the ZR's hot shoe while adding an additional cold shoe for extra mounting flexibility. A quick release Arca-type baseplate enables seamless use with DJI gimbals, tripods, and other Arca-type receivers, while dual M3 threads at the front provide support for compatible lens adapters.

Convenient Modular Design

Engineered to protect the ZR without sacrificing its compact form factor or mobility, the cage features a modular design that can be configured for lightweight travel or expanded into a fully rigged setup. Two secure contact points between the cage plates, combined with a security block that locks into the camera's strap slot, ensure a stable fit during operation. A comfortable wooden grip enhances handling for extended shooting sessions, while the integrated cable clamp with thumbscrews allows quick adjustments for neat and secure cable management.

Tilta Xeno Top Handle with 1/4"-20 Locating Screw (Black)

Integrate this black Tilta Xeno Top Handle into your camera cage configuration for improved low-angle shooting. The top handle secures to your cage via a built-in 1/4"-20 screw with locating pins. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads throughout the handle allow you to attach articulating arms, cable clamps, or other accessories. A single cold shoe slot accommodates a shotgun microphone or wireless transmitter. The handle's silicone grip makes for an ergonomic and anti-slip handgrip.

Tilta Xeno Side Handle with Anti-Twist 1/4"-20 Mount (Black)

This black Xeno Side Handle with Anti-Twist 1/4"-20 Mount from Tilta mounts securely on the right or left side of your camera cage, offering improved handheld stability, thanks to its captive screw with two anti-twist pins. It has a comfortable, nonslip silicone grip and can be adjusted vertically up to 1.6" for optimal placement. The handle has one shoe mount and three anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads for mounting accessories, and it comes with a magnetic 3mm Allen key.

Tilta Height-Adjustable Arca-Type 15mm LWS Baseplate (Black)

This Height-Adjustable Arca-Type 15mm LWS Baseplate from Tilta features a 15mm LWS rod clamp baseplate to accommodate standard 15mm rods, and a quick release top plate is included for integration with Arca-type tripod systems. The system is height adjustable within a 0.78" range to accommodate a follow focus system or matte box, and it features a range of 0.71 to 1.5" from the rod center to the Arca receiver.

A dovetail clamp on the base is compatible with Tilta dovetail plates, and there are also 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom for mounting onto a tripod, plate, or rig. The Arca-type quick release plate features a 1/4"-20 screw to secure your camera. The baseplate can support a camera rig load weighing up to 4.54 kg.

Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8", Single)

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminium for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodised black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
