The inclusion of MIDI ports gives producers an easy way to integrate MIDI gear into their music production setups.

With its four Ultra-HDDA mic preamps, two line / Hi-Z inputs, and two line inputs, the US-4x4HR allows you to track or overdub four different sources at the same time. Phantom power is onboard for condenser mics and LED signal/peak indicators are provided to help you properly set levels. The four balanced 1/4" line outputs and dual 1/4" headphone outputs enable monitoring through multiple speakers, headphones, or both. Additional feature enhancements include virtual loopback for podcasting and livestreaming, zero-latency adjustable direct monitoring, and an empowering software bundle.

Ultra-HDDA Mic Preamps

Ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Architecture) mic preamp design developed in-house and combined with a newly improved audio circuit for enhanced audio performance and transparency

Low noise level with EIN rating of -128 dBu and signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB

Microphone preamps with phantom power and gain range of 56 dB support dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones

Front-Panel Mic/Line/Instrument Inputs

Four microphone inputs on balanced XLR jacks

Switchable +48V phantom power for condenser microphones

Four 1/4" inputs line inputs

Line / Hi-Z switching for inputs 1-2 accommodate balanced line-level signals from professional processors and synthesisers or high-impedance signals for direct recording of electric guitar and bass

High-Resolution Recording

Records at up to 192 kHz / 24-bit resolution

Mic preamps and A/D converters work together to capture the clearest signal path, at 192 kHz or at lower sampling rates

Compatible with Computers and iOS Mobile Devices

USB-C 2.0 computer connection (includes USB-C to USB-A cable) supplies appropriate bandwidth, even for multichannel 192 kHz recordings

Works with ASIO, WDM, or Core Audio drivers

USB bus-powered for mobile recording (without phantom power) to a computer

Uses included external power adapter for operation with phantom power

Connects with iPad, iPhone, and other iOS devices (requires included power adapter; Apple Camera Connection Kit required for use with Lightning-equipped devices)

Zero-Latency Monitoring

Direct monitoring path provides zero-latency monitoring of the input signal before it is sent to the computer

Adjustable monitor mix blend between input and computer via the front panel

Flexible Monitoring Options

Four balanced 1/4" outputs enable connection to powered monitors and outboard gear

Two 1/4" TRS headphone output jacks allow personal monitoring for two people

Separate controls for line and headphone output volumes

Input monitoring can be set to stereo or mono via the software settings panel

Standard 5-pin DIN MIDI input and output connectors

Allows MIDI external devices such as keyboards, drum machines, and controllers to be synchronised and controlled
