The Sony ECM-44BMP is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed for broadcast, sound reinforcement, and recording applications. The condenser element features a compact profile allowing it to be easily concealed in performance and broadcast situations. The omnidirectional polar pattern provides even frequency and sensitivity response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule.

The ECM-44BMP provides a wide frequency response of 40 Hz to 15 kHz for accurate reproduction of audio signal from a variety of sources. The attached 3.9' cable features a 3.5mm locking mini jack for use with WRT-805 bodypack transmitters and UWP Series beltpack transmitters such as the UTX-B1 and UTX-B03. Phantom power is supplied via the connected bodypack transmitters. The ECM-44BMP includes a windscreen, tie clip, and microphone case.

Omnidirectional Pattern

The omnidirectional pattern provides even sensitivity and frequency response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule.

Compact Capsule

The compact capsule size enables the microphone to be easily concealed in broadcast and performance situations.

3.5mm Mini Wireless Transmitter Connection

The ECM series is available in a variety of connections; this version features a 3.5mm (1/8") locking mini jack for use with WRT-805 bodypack transmitters and UWP Series wireless transmitters equipped with 3.5mm locking jacks. Phantom power is supplied via the connected transmitters.
