Compact and Lightweight Design

This product boasts an impressively compact construction with image quality that rivals SIGMA's Art Line. Axial colour aberration, which is difficult to eliminate through image processing, is efficiently corrected with the incorporation of an SLD glass element. This combination of compactness and lightweight design with superb image quality is a major advantage.

Optimised for Reduced Flare and Ghosting

Optimised for Reduced Flare and Ghosting

From the outset of the lens design process, SIGMA have measured flare and ghosting to create an optical design that is resistant to strong incident light sources such as backlighting. SIGMA's Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting, allowing photographers to capture sharp and high contrast images even in backlit conditions. The included lens hood can be attached to block out extraneous light, which can have a detrimental effect on image quality.
