Compact and sporting ultralow self-noise, the OM-08 Condenser Microphone Matched Pair from Rycote are professional pencil microphones with a wide, omnidirectional pickup pattern, an exceptionally flat frequency response, and solid low-end pickup with virtually no drop off at 20 Hz. These versatile small-diaphragm mics sport a back electret condenser transducer in a lightweight, machined aluminium capsule, delivering accurate and detailed sound reproduction while remaining easy to transport and mount in any studio or field environment.

The OM-08 features sophisticated low-noise circuitry through it's corrosion-resistant, machined brass preamp, active, in-line RF filtering circuitry, and fine-tuned mechanical RF shielding. A gold-plated Neutrik XLR connector ensures further protection from noise, and reliable, long-lasting performance in the most demanding usage scenarios. The mics come equipped with a hard case as well as a mic clip and foam windscreen for each mic, ensuring safe transport to and from your recording sessions.
