Self-Healing Cutting Mats

If you are investing in a paper trimmer, craft knife or a straight edge a cutting mat will be essential. A high-quality self-healing cutting mat will not only protect your work surface, but it will also prolong your cutting implement by ensuring it stays sharper for longer.

What is a Self- Healing Cutting Mat?

A self-healing cutting mat is made from tiny pieces of material which are pressed together to create a solid cutting surface. When cut into with a rotary cutter, blade or knife the blade goes between the tiny pieces, separating them but not cutting into the surface as a whole.

Benefits of Self-Healing Cutting Mats
