LiDAR Assisted Autofocus

Live Air 3 Smartis user-friendly and requires minimal setup. The introduction of LiDAR distance measurement autofocus greatly reduces the difficulty of focusing, allowing creators to focus more on composition and design, providing them with greater inspiration.

Array Focusing Technology

LiDAR automatic ranging can project a total of 4096 ranging points with a field of view angle of 28°. It accurately measures the distance to the subject within the effective range and automatically controls the motor to drive the lens for autofocus based on the data.

Three-speed focusing speed to adapt to different shooting scenarios

The LiDAR Motor is equipped with three autofocus speed modes. High-speed mode for capturing fast-moving subjects with precision, medium-speed mode for everyday shooting scenarios, and slow-speed mode for creating a more cinematic breathing effect.

Front/Rear Focus Lock Change

Depending on the requirements of the shooting scenario, you can easily switch between autofocus on the front focus or back focus. The front focus is the default focus on the object closest to the LiDAR, while the back focus is the default focus on the object at the far end of the LiDAR scanning range. (The back focus autofocus lock mode requires connection to the controller. Without controller connection, the motor will only default to front focus autofocus.)

Double Power Mode

When the Motor Smart is in a high-speed response state and the battery is at 100% capacity, it will automatically activate the Double Power mode. In this mode, the motor's power output is doubled, and the peak torque can reach up to 1.5Nm. The radar scanning rate can also be increased to 480Hz. When the battery level drops below 95%, the motor will automatically exit the Double Power mode. To keep the motor in the Double Power mode for an extended period, an external power source can be connected via the Type-C interface.

Quick Lens AF Marking

After completing lens travel calibration, simply mark three positions to quickly complete the marking process and enjoy autofocus functionality.

Type-C Quick Charge

Motor Smart can quick charge the battery and enter to double power mode through Type-C interface

Motor Smart Mini does not have Type-C interface
