Novoflex LEM/VIS III Adapter Kit for Leica M-Mount, Visoflex Lens to Leica M-Mount Camera

Novoflex LEM/VIS III Adapter Kit for Leica M-Mount, Visoflex Lens to Leica M-Mount Camera

This Adapter Kit from Novoflex contains a LEMLEI Lens Mount Adapter for Leica L39-Mount Lens to Leica M-Mount Camera, a Novoflex LEI-D 10mm Extension Tube for Leica L39-Mount, two Novoflex LEI 10mm Extension Tubes for Leica L39-Mount, and a Novoflex LEI-M Lens Mount Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to Leica L39-Mount Camera. Together, all these items allow a Leica M-mount, Visoflex lens to be used on a Leica M-mount camera without a Visoflex mirror housing.

Alternatively, the adapter kit can be used as an extension tube set between a Leica M-mount camera body and a non-Visoflex Leica M-mount lens. For Leica M-mount lenses that are not designed for a Visoflex system, the LEMLEI Lens Mount Adapter and LEI-M Lens Mount Adapter joined by at least one of the kit's 10mm extension tubes allow the lens to focus closer than its normal minimum focus distance. By placing space between the camera body and a non-Visoflex Leica M-mount lens, focusing distance is shortened and the effect of magnifying your subject is created. Extension tubes enable macro performance for lenses not otherwise able to focus as closely and are also suited for near-range portraiture.

The LEI-D 10mm Extension Tube or either of the two LEI 10mm Extension Tubes can be used individually or in any combination between the LEMLEI and LEI-M Lens Mount Adapters to achieve a desired macro result with a non-Visoflex Leica M-mount lens. Similarly, the LEI-M Lens Mount Adapter may be removed for macro photography with a Leica M-mount camera and a non-Visoflex Leica L39-mount lens.

While the included LEMLEI Lens Mount Adapter for Leica L39-Mount Lens to Leica M-Mount Camera is designed to activate a compatible camera's 35/135mm frame lines whenever possible, rangefinder coupling is not enabled by any of this kit's components. For reliable focusing, a digital Leica M-mount camera with a live view feature may be used.
