Balanced Light Control for Landscapes & Cityscapes

Graduated ND filters are essential when photographing high-contrast scenes such as sunlit skies above darker landscapes. The Soft GND8 (0.9) reduces light by 3 stops in the graduated region, transitioning smoothly from dark to clear to balance exposure across your frame. The soft transition is ideal for horizons with elements that break the line, such as mountains, city skylines, or trees, where a hard grad would appear too abrupt.

The Ideal Graduation for Versatile Shooting

The JetMag Pro Soft GND8 features a 1/3 graduation design, offering an excellent balance of precision and flexibility. This makes it highly versatile across a wide range of scenes, from coastal seascapes with subtle horizon lines to mountain ranges, urban skylines, or rolling countryside. The 1/3 graduation area is perfect for scenes with less sky, allowing elements to take up more of the frame and show more detail without affecting the sky's exposure, giving photographers and filmmakers maximum creative freedom no matter the environment.

Full Spectrum (FS) Neutrality

This FS (Full Spectrum) GND filter is designed to deliver true-to-life colours without unwanted colour casts. By maintaining colour fidelity across the entire visible spectrum, your images retain natural tones and accurate contrast, which is critical for both high-resolution photography and cinematic video production.

High-Definition Optical Glass with Pro Nano Coating

Crafted from optical-grade glass, the JetMag Pro Soft GND8 delivers exceptional image clarity. NiSi's Pro Nano Coating ensures a water-repellent and oil-resistant surface, making the filter easy to clean even in demanding outdoor conditions. The advanced coating also provides anti-reflective protection to minimise flare and ghosting, preserving contrast and detail in your images. In addition, it enhances the filter's durability, ensuring reliable performance and longevity in professional use across all environments.

Ultra-Slim, No Vignetting Design

The slim frame ensures compatibility with wide-angle lenses, helping minimise the risk of vignetting even at focal lengths as wide as 16mm on full-frame. This allows landscape photographers to capture expansive vistas without edge darkening or distortion.

JetMag Pro Magnetic System

Thanks to the JetMag Pro magnetic mount, attaching or removing the filter is fast, stable, and secure. The patented locking mechanism provides a secure fit to help prevent accidental detachment even when stacking multiple filters. This filter is designed to work exclusively with the JetMag Pro 82MAG magnetic mounting system. To use it on your lens, you'll need a compatible 82MAG adapter ring, available in direct 82mm or step-up sizes including 77mm-82MAG, 72mm-82MAG, 67mm-82MAG, and 62mm-82MAG.

Creative Control for Photography & Filmmaking

Whether you're shooting golden hour landscapes, dramatic seascapes, or cinematic video sequences, the NiSi JetMag Pro Soft GND8 (0.9) gives you precise exposure balance. By darkening bright skies while leaving the foreground unaffected, it helps deliver a natural look straight out of camera, reducing post-processing time and maximizing creative focus in the field.
