NiSi JetMag Pro MAXMAG Magnetic Filter Adapter for Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 L

The NiSi JetMag Pro MAXMAG Magnetic Filter Adapter for Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 L is purpose-built to bring the speed and flexibility of the MAXMAG magnetic filter system to one of Canon's most demanding ultra-wide prime lenses. The Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 L USM is a remarkable optic for landscape, astrophotography, architecture, and cinematic wide-angle work, but its bulbous front element and lack of a front filter thread have historically made filter use difficult or impossible. This dedicated adapter solves that problem, unlocking the full creative potential of the lens without compromising its compact handling or optical performance.

Designed for the JetMag Pro MAXMAG Ecosystem

This adapter is fully compatible with the entire NiSi JetMag Pro MAXMAG filter range, including MAXMAG circular polarisers, neutral density (ND) filters, Natural Night light pollution filters, and creative effect filters. The MAXMAG magnetic system replaces traditional screw-on threading with a precision-engineered magnetic mount, allowing filters to snap securely into place in a fraction of a second and release just as quickly. For working photographers and filmmakers, this means dramatically faster filter changes in the field, critical when the light is changing or a scene needs to be captured before conditions shift.

The adapter is engineered to support stacking of up to two MAXMAG filters simultaneously with zero vignetting, even at the lens's extreme 14mm focal length. This makes it possible to combine, for example, a circular polariser with a neutral density filter for long-exposure landscape photography, or a variable ND with a Natural Night filter for nightscape and astro work - all without dark corners compromising the frame.

Fast, Secure Mounting Built for Professional Use

A precision clamping ring allows the adapter to be installed or removed in seconds while maintaining a rock-solid grip on the lens barrel. Once tightened, the adapter becomes a stable, immovable foundation for JetMag Pro MAXMAG filters - there is no flex, no rotation, and no risk of accidental movement during long exposures, time-lapse sequences, or video shoots. The clamping mechanism is designed for repeated installation and removal without wear, making it equally suited to studio workflows and demanding outdoor environments.

Premium Materials and Built-In Lens Protection

The interior contact surface is lined with genuine Alcantara®, a premium synthetic suede material chosen for two reasons: it provides a high-friction, slip-free grip on the lens barrel, and it protects the painted finish of the Canon 14mm f/1.4 L from scratches, scuffs, and pressure marks during repeated mounting. The adapter body itself is machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminium, delivering exceptional rigidity and long-term durability while keeping overall weight to a minimum - an important consideration when balancing a heavy ultra-wide prime on a gimbal, slider, or tripod head.

Luminous Alignment Mark for Low-Light Shooting

A luminous position mark on the adapter is highly visible in low-light conditions and reflects brightly when a light source touches it, providing a clear visual reference for correct alignment when mounting the adapter. This thoughtful detail is particularly valuable for astrophotographers, night landscape photographers, and cinematographers working on location after sunset, where fumbling with gear in low light can mean missing the shot.

The Most Compact MAXMAG Solution for Ultra-Wide Canon RF Shooters

By enabling the most compact MAXMAG filter setup currently available for the Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 L, this adapter opens the door to a complete creative toolkit, neutral density filters for long exposures and video, circular polarisers for managing reflections and saturating skies, light pollution reduction filters for astrophotography, and specialty filters for cinematic effects, on a lens that was previously limited in filter compatibility. Whether you shoot landscapes, real estate and architecture, astro and nightscapes, weddings and events, or narrative film and documentary, the JetMag Pro MAXMAG adapter for the Canon 14mm f/1.4 L is an essential accessory for photographers and filmmakers seeking maximum creative flexibility without compromise.
