Nikon Sports Photography - Master Kit

A trustworthy tool for your creative journey, the Nikon Z5 II upgrades its predecessor with improved processing speed, subject recognition AF, and low-light performance. With a new colour preset button, an ultra-bright viewfinder, and easy sharing options, the camera offers a step up to creators seeking full-frame imagery.

24.5MP FX Sensor & EXPEED 7 Image Processor

The full-frame, FX-format 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor is paired with an EXPEED 7 image processor to provide a versatile mixture of improved sensitivity, nuanced image quality, fast, AI-powered autofocus, and full-resolution continuous shooting up to 30 fps. At native values, a sensitivity range from ISO 100-64000 permits working in a broad array of lighting conditions and can be further expanded up to ISO 50-204800 for extreme lighting conditions. The combination of resolution and sensor size also contributes to clean image quality and smooth colour transitions with reduced noise throughout the sensitivity range.

Autofocus You Can Trust

Using inherited algorithms and deep learning technology from the Z9, including sophisticated Subject Detection for nine different subject types, the Z5 II can recognise a variety of distinct subject types, ranging from humans to animals to airplanes to bicycles. The popular dedicated Bird Detection mode is also featured. When working in Auto-Area AF, these subjects will automatically be detected, focused on, and tracked to ensure sharp focus when the subject is moving across the frame.

Pre-Release Capture

The EXPEED 7 processor also unlocks Pre-Release Capture, a feature that helps make decisive moment shots easier by recording frames in a burst of up to 30 fps for up to a second prior to actually releasing the shutter. When this feature is activated, burst shooting will commence when the shutter is half-pressed, and the buffer will retain the frames after fully pressing the shutter.

UHD 4K Video Recording

Capable of recording more than just stills, the Z5 II has improved its video capture abilities as well, now supporting UHD 4K video recording up to 60 fps and Full HD recording up to 120 fps along with recording time limits up to two hours, a video self-timer feature, built-in electronic Vibration Reduction, and the ability to save movie files to the in-camera memory cards or an optional external recorder via HDMI out. In-camera time-lapse shooting is also possible with the ability to produce a finished UHD 4K video file directly from the camera.

Additionally, the Z5 II allows you to record 12-bit N-RAW video in resolutions up to 4032 x 2268, as well as 10-bit H.265 video in N-Log with multiple free RED LUTs for striking visuals. The versatile camera also features a Product Review mode and is UAC and UAV compliant for live web-streaming.

Sensor-Shift Vibration Reduction

Built into the body is a 5-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction (VR) mechanism that compensates for up to five stops of stabilisation regardless of the lens in use. With compatible lenses, up to 7.5 stops of stabilisation is possible. Also, benefitting video recording, Electronic VR is available to help steady footage to suit handheld shooting.

Colour Control for Creators

Nikon has added a Picture Control button atop the Z5 II to make access to its 31 built-in presets available even in Auto mode. The colour presets can now be overlaid in the rear LCD screen, giving you the ability to visualise the colour shifts as you create. Creator Recipes built by fellow Nikon shooters are available through the Nikon Imaging Cloud and can be downloaded and integrated alongside the presets.

Body Design and Connectivity

A large 3.2" 2.1m-dot LCD screen doubles the brightness for clear and vivid image playback and live view shooting. The vari-angle touchscreen design boasts more intuitive operation, navigation, and settings control. The upgraded touchscreen now features the Touch FN option, which allows you to select the focus point with your fingertips.

An ultra-bright, 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder is present for comfortable eye-level viewing.

Dual SD memory card slots both support up to the UHS-II protocol for high-speed and efficient photo and video file saving.

The Warm Display Colours mode benefits shooting at night, switching the information display from white to red to reduce brightness and preserve night vision. Additionally, Starlight View mode gives a clear view even in near-complete darkness, which is beneficial for astrophotography.

The headphone jack doubles as a terminal for Nikon's optional MC-DC3 Remote Release Cord, and the USB-C terminal provides both camera charging and USB power delivery. A micro-HDMI port allows for external recording and live view.

Built-in SnapBridge connectivity to enable seamless transfer of low-resolution imagery as well as remote shooting capabilities. BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Wi-Fi enable communication between the camera and a smart device and, additionally, the mobile device can remotely trigger the shutter and display a live view image from the camera to enable working from a distance.

Nikon Nikkor Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR Lens

Experience superb zoom range that covers everything from portraiture to event photography with the all-in-one NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR Lens from Nikon. Quick and accurate autofocus is provided by the lens's STM stepping motor. When paired with a compatible camera, Synchro VR can be activated to allow up to 5.5 stops of image stabilisation. Weighing approximately 0.73 kg, this lens is easy to carry and perfectly viable to shoot handheld with. The lens's compact build coupled with its expansive zoom range makes it an excellent choice to go anywhere with and confidently capture a variety of subject matter including sports, travel, wildlife photography, and more.

Nikon EN-EL15c Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery

Power select Nikon cameras with the EN-EL15c rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This battery has the EN-EL15 form factor and can be used as a higher capacity substitute for previous generation batteries. It is compatible with the MH-25 and MH-25a chargers, or, when used with Z cameras, it can be charged in-camera using the EH-7P Charging AC Adapter or EH-8P AC Adapter.

Wise 256GB SDXC UHS-II 290MB/s Memory Card - V90

The 256GB SD-N UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from Wise Advanced features a storage capacity of 256GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support advanced DSLR functions such as continuous shutter bursts and rapid shooting, as well as raw and JPEG captures. This card is also well-suited for video capture, including 8K, 4K, Full HD, 3D, and 360°, and can achieve maximum read speeds of up to 290 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 260 MB/s. Thanks to its V90 speed class rating, minimum write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 90 MB/s.

To help facilitate card usage in almost any environment, as well as keeping your content safe, Wise Advanced has built this card to be resistant to water, dust, shock, x-rays, and temperatures ranging from -13 to 185°F. Content may be further guarded against accidental deletions using the integrated write-protect switch.

UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins, and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which support minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which support minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also support minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantees minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Leofoto MP-326C 6 Section Carbon Fibre Monopod

The MP-326C Carbon Fiber Monopod from Leofoto is a six-section camera support with a maximum height of 61.2". The 0.59 kg monopod is constructed with a 10-layer carbon fiber weave and designed to hold up to 15 kg. Featuring a comfortable foam grip and wrist strap for a secure grip, this monopod is capable of supporting cameras with large telephoto lenses. The rubber foot prevents it from sliding on smooth surfaces and is removable so you can replace it with a separately available steel claw, spike, or other accessory to get the best traction on any given terrain. When not in use, turn the ergonomic twist locks to collapse the support to 16.3" for easy transport and storage. The threaded mounting stud on the top of the monopod features a reversible 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw, making it universal for most cameras and lenses.

Godox TT685IIN TTL Speedlight Flash For Nikon

Offering full support for Nikon i-TTL and a built-in 2.4 GHz radio system, the Godox TT685IIN TTL Speedlight Flash for Nikon makes it easy to create both simple and elaborate lighting setups. A powerful and effective lighting tool, this flash features a powerful guide number of 197' at ISO 100 with a zoom range of 20-200mm. The TT685N II operates as a full wireless master or slave unit with TTL functionality, and for maximum versatility this updated unit tilts from -7 to 120° and rotates 330°, giving you more flexible flash angles and a more efficient lighting setup process. Also featured is a new and unique TCM (TTL Converted to Manual) function, which allows for instant conversion from TTL to manual mode. This function helps you lock the proper exposure value and is useful for quickly determining a good starting point for setting external flash units in manual mode. For ease of use, an easy-to-read rear LCD panel illuminates your flash settings, and the flash includes a 2.5mm sync port for basic wired connectivity.
