Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II is a next-generation telephoto zoom lens designed for photographers who thrive on action. Lighter, faster, and built specifically for sports, wildlife, and photojournalism, this lens gives you the freedom to move quickly and capture fleeting moments with precision. Its constant f/2.8 aperture and significantly improved autofocus performance ensure you can freeze decisive, once-in-a-lifetime shots before they disappear.

Exceptional Speed and Responsiveness

Autofocus is up to 3.5 times faster than its predecessor, the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S. At the telephoto end, scan time is reduced by 45%, while tracking performance during zooming improves by 40%. A new optical ABS encoder delivers 17.5 times greater position detection accuracy, allowing the lens to lock onto subjects with remarkable reliability, even in demanding situations.

Lightweight and Balanced Design

Weighing only 1,000g without the tripod collar, this lens is 26% lighter than the previous 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S model. An internal zoom mechanism keeps the lens length constant throughout the range, improving balance and handling. A detachable Arca-Swiss tripod collar is included for secure support when needed.

Superior Close-Focusing Capability

The lens offers impressive minimum focus distances of 0.38 m at 70 mm and 0.8 m at 200 mm. This added versatility lets you get closer to subjects for more dynamic compositions, whether shooting portraits, details, or tight wildlife shots.

Practical Features for Professionals

A 77 mm filter size accommodates standard accessories, while the robust construction supports the fast-paced demands of professional work. This lens combines portability, speed, and optical excellence to help photographers stay ahead of the action.
