Heavy Lifting Support

The pack has a harness that is designed to efficiently transfer weight to your hips, with length adjustment that adjusts to the length of your torso. Airflow channels improve breathability and an adjustable padded waist belt pivots to offer range of motion while carrying.

Internal Aluminium Frame

The aluminium frame transfers the weight of the pack to the waist belt and your hips to more comfortably support heavy loads. Two attached horizontal aluminium stays keep the frame rigid.

Load Lifter Straps

Adjustable straps attach the shoulder strap to the top of the pack and pull the pack weight toward your body. This keeps the center of gravity close to your core and the weight on your hips.

Adjustable Torso Length and Yoke Angle

Using the correct torso length helps keep most of the pack weight on your hips. The ActivLift torso length adjustment system covers a range from 14-19". Once the torso length is adjusted to the proper fit, the targeted back pads can be adjusted to maximise airflow.

Adjustable Chest Strap

The chest strap adjusts and locks to help balance the pack's weight by keeping the shoulder straps centered. This strap slides up and down along the shoulder straps and secures into position with an easy-lock clip.

Pivoting and Adjustable Waist Belt

The waist belt is designed to pivot separately from the pack while still providing support. This allows your hips and shoulders to move freely when going uphill or crossing uneven terrain. There is also a multi-density lumbar pad between the waist belt and your body. The waist pad length and location is adjustable thanks to the ActivLift system and can fit a range of belt widths from 28 to 48".

Compression Straps

The pack has 11 compression straps to help stabilise the load. These straps squeeze the pack closer to the internal frame, bringing it closer to your body for better weight transfer and balance.

Made of Sustainable Fabrics

This pack is made from 100% recycled carbonate-coated 420D nylon that is durable and resistant to abrasion, dirt, mud, and moisture. The interior lining is also made from 100% recycled fabric. The camera insert is made from 50% recycled fabric and the AW cover is made from 100% recycled fabric.

While 420D nylon has a lighter denier, it is durable and is resistant to tearing and abrasion. The fabric's carbonate exterior coating provides an extra layer of protection, absorbing scratches and preventing snags from reaching the fabric below. This coating also makes it easy to wipe off dirt, dust, and mud. The fabric's light colour reflects the sun's rays to keep your gear at comfortable temperatures. The bottom of the bag has the same 420D nylon and carbonate coating but with a diamond ripstop pattern weave that provides additional protection against tears and punctures, preventing them from becoming larger.

Green Line Label

The Green line label is a loading bar that indicates what percentage of sustainable materials were used to create the bag. The label also represents Lowepro's commitment to protecting the world along with the company's journey towards sustainability.
