Lexar 4TB SL500 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 Portable SSD with Magnetic Set

Expand your system's storage and transfer data quickly using the 4TB SL500 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 Portable SSD from Lexar. Built with a capacity of 4TB, the SL500 features read speeds of up to 2000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s, which is fast enough to record 4K120 video directly from your iPhone, or 8K30 video from Samsung. Thanks to a unique thermal control design that quickly conducts heat, this drive will remain cool, even during heavy usage. Lexar DataShield 256-bit AES encryption helps keep your data safe, while its durable metal design is rated IP54 for dust and water. The SL500 can also withstand drops up to 6.6' and is MagSafe compatible, allowing it to directly attach to your iPhone 12 or later. For devices that do not support MagSafe, a metal ring is included. Also included is a magnetic rubber case, a strap, and a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Easily Attach, Capture, and Transfer

The Lexar SL500 Portable SSD with Magnetic Set includes a magnetised, protective sleeve, an additional magnetic ring to use with a laptop cover or other device, and a wrist strap. It also comes with Lexar DataShield 256-bit AES encryption software to keep your files secure and is compatible with most computers, cameras, and gaming devices.

Exceptional USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Performance

Fast read speeds of up to 2000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s accelerate data transfers for more efficient work. Performance on Mac and other systems not supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 may be lower.

Smartphone Friendly

The Lexar SL500 Portable SSD supports Apple ProRes and Samsung recording. Shoot directly to the drive in up to 4K60 with the iPhone 15 Pro series, up to 4K120 with the iPhone 16 Pro series or above, and up to 8K30 with the Samsung Galaxy S25 or above.
