Leofoto GC-404C Geared Center Column for Tripod with 100mm Bowl Adapter

The Leofoto GC-404C Geared Center Column is the ultimate vertical extension solution for photographers and videographers using tripods with a 100mm bowl adapter. Built for precise, stable, and effortless height adjustments, the GC-404C is ideal for heavy camera rigs, long lenses, video heads, and broadcast equipment requiring fine-tuned elevation control without compromising on stability.

Precision Geared Movement

At the heart of the GC-404C is a robust geared lifting mechanism operated by a foldable hand crank. Each rotation delivers 14mm of vertical movement, allowing ultra-smooth elevation adjustments with zero shake or deviation. This is especially critical when working with long telephoto lenses or high-precision video setups where micro adjustments matter.

Durable Brushed Aluminium Alloy Construction

The column features a brushed aluminium alloy tube, specifically chosen for its exceptional wear resistance, structural integrity, and scratch-resistant finish. The outer surface includes precision-machined gear tracks that interlock with the crank mechanism for consistent, load-bearing performance even under maximum stress.

Ergonomic Locking & Control

A butterfly lock knob enables fast and secure height locking once the desired elevation is reached, ensuring rock-solid positioning during use. The large 63mm platform plates at both ends (top and bottom) come with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounts, accommodating a wide range of ball heads, fluid heads, or accessories. An included Allen key allows you to finely adjust the mounting screws for a custom fit and added security.
