Engineered from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium alloy and refined with Japanese Nichimoly lubrication, this head delivers flawless operation in extreme environments ranging from -30°C to +60°C.

With a 15-step continuous counterbalance system and dedicated 7-step damping controls for both pan and tilt, the FH-20 ensures precise, repeatable movements, no matter the load. Its Arca-Swiss standard dovetail plate (PU-140) guarantees fast, secure mounting, while the illuminated leveling bubble and press-lock clamp make setup and adjustments effortless-even in low-light conditions.

Precision Fluid Movement

The fluid head is engineered to provide smooth, controlled movement for professional camera rigs weighing between 2 kg and 15 kg. Its 15-step plus 0 counterbalance system delivers consistent counterforce, helping maintain stability during tilting and preventing unwanted movement when the camera is repositioned.

Adjustable Tilt Control

A 7-step plus 0 tilt drag system provides precise control over resistance, allowing smooth camera movements of up to 90° forwards and 60° backwards. The adjustable damping helps maintain consistent movement throughout the tilt range, reducing sudden shifts and jerky transitions for more controlled video production.

Smooth Pan Movement

The 7-step plus 0 pan drag system provides adjustable resistance for fluid 360° horizontal panning. This allows operators to fine-tune the level of drag according to their shooting requirements, making it suitable for controlled camera sweeps, tracking shots and other movements where smooth and predictable motion is essential.

Professional-Grade Construction

Precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the fluid head combines a robust construction with a relatively lightweight design for demanding field use. Its components are engineered to resist corrosion and wear, while weather sealing and Nichimoly Japanese lubricants allow reliable operation across temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C, making the head suitable for a wide range of challenging environments.

Fast and Intuitive Operation

An illuminated levelling bubble makes it easier to achieve accurate setup, including in low-light conditions, and automatically switches off after 10 seconds to conserve power. The quick-release clamp features an auto-locking mechanism that securely holds the Arca-Swiss plate in position, while a silver safety pin helps prevent accidental release. The detachable pan bar can be mounted on either side of the head for left or right-handed operation, and a replaceable rosette is included to extend the product's service life.

Versatile Mounting and Compatibility

The fluid head includes the PU-140 Quick Release Plate, a 140mm Arca-Swiss style plate equipped with both 3/8" and 1/4" camera screws and an anti-rotation pin for a secure connection. Its flat base mounting interface makes the head compatible with a wide range of tripod systems and sliders featuring a flat mounting surface, providing greater flexibility for professional video and filmmaking setups.
