Leofoto BV-5L 50mm Base Fluid Video Head with Arca QP-70N Plate

Engineered for filmmakers, wildlife watchers, and content creators who demand fluid motion and compact performance, the Leofoto BV-5L is a lightweight yet professional-grade video head designed to offer exceptional control, smooth operation, and rugged durability. With its 50mm base diameter, compact 90mm height, and ergonomic layout, this mini fluid head is perfect for use with mirrorless and lightweight DSLR camera systems, offering rock-solid support without unnecessary bulk.

Smooth & Stable Fluid Motion

The BV-5L incorporates fluid drag technology that ensures silky smooth panning and tilt movements-ideal for video shooting, panning timelapses, or following subjects in motion. It delivers consistent resistance across a wide tilt range of +90° to -75°, with full 360° panning capability and precise lock mechanisms. Whether capturing sweeping cinematic shots or stabilising zoomed-in footage, this head maintains fluidity and control with ease.

Built with Premium Materials

Machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium and CNC precision-engineered for unmatched accuracy and strength, the BV-5L is built to withstand the rigours of daily field use. It's hard-anodised for extra protection against scratches and corrosion, making it ideal for harsh environments and travel.

Compact Yet Capable

Weighing just 560g, the BV-5L is deceptively lightweight without sacrificing load capacity-it supports setups up to 4kg, making it ideal for professional mirrorless rigs, compact cinema cameras, and long lenses. The low-profile design makes it especially travel-friendly, while the ergonomic handle (260mm in length) offers flexible placement options and smooth operation for extended use.

Versatile Mounting & Compatibility

The head features a standard Arca-Swiss compatible QP-70N quick release plate with anti-twist nubs, allowing for fast camera mounting and removal while providing secure attachment. The base has a 50mm diameter and includes a 3/8"-16 mounting thread, ensuring broad tripod compatibility.
