The Kupo 5/8" Receiver to 5/8" Baby Stud Adapter provides any industry-standard 5/8" light stand with an extra-long stud—a valuable asset when using a stand with a threaded stud. One of the advantages of using the adapter is the ability to mount it horizontally, at a right angle, via the 5/8" hole tapped into the barrel of the adapter.
