This Kupo Head mounting plate with Stud is an aluminium disc with a 5/8" stud on 1 side and a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw on the other. It's ideal for attaching a tripod head, DSLR camera, field recorder or any other accessory, tapped with a female 1/4"-20 thread to a Kupo Convi Clamp or any other piece of grip equipment with a 5/8" receiver. Possible applications include outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking etc.
