The KonuSpot's housing is wrapped in a protective rubber armour that provides slip-resistant handling for safe setup and breakdown. A retractable sunshade can be extended to prevent lens flare when you're looking in the direction of the sun and helps to improve contrast on bright days. Designed as a complete observation kit, Konus includes a suite of accessories to help you enjoy the spotter right out of the box. First is a view-through/stay-on case that maximizes protection during use. Next is a tabletop tripod outfitted with a pan-tilt head and a control handle for precise positioning and tracking. Finally to document all that you see you get a universal smartphone adapter to capture photos and video through the eyepiece for easy sharing or posting, and a camera adapter that replaces the eyepiece to directly connect a DSLR body and converts your spotter into a super zoom lens for when you want to up your digiscoping game and gets better shots than your phone is able to capture. Be aware that the adapter requires an optional camera-specific T-ring to properly mount your DSLR.
