Godox V1mid S TTL On-Camera Flash for Sony

A variety of flash modes and Godox's 2.4 GHz X wireless system make the V1mid S TTL On-Camera Flash a go-to flash unit for your Sony cameras. Intentional & Intuitive

One of its many benefits is a round head design that provides soft, smooth flash lighting effects. Another attribute is the flash's ability to maintain a stable colour output and brightness in high-speed continuous shooting. With the Godox refined optical system, the V1mid S allows you to quickly adapt to changing light conditions. The flash is easy-to-use thanks to intuitive onboard control with a 2" touchscreen interface and a universal shoe-mounted connection for trusted compatibility with select Sony cameras.

Uniform Light Quality

Multiple flash modes and the Godox's 2.4 GHz X wireless radio system make the V1mid S compatible with select Sony cameras with TTL automatic functionality so you can enjoy numerous automated flash settings. This on-camera flash packs various modes of operation, such as a manual mode for customised exposure. On top of this, the flash has an adjustable output from 1/256 to full power. Other relevant features are a multi flash mode, second curtain sync, FEC, as well as 1/8000 sec high-speed sync.

2.4 GHz X Wireless Radio System

An integrated 2.4 GHz X wireless radio system is incorporated into the V1mid S for wireless triggering, which extends your shooting possibilities. The flash works with the separately purchased XPro II, X2T, X3, and X3Pro Godox models. With a wireless range of 229', the V1mid S lets you choose between 32 channels and set up five groups. Beyond hot shoe and wireless triggering options, the V1mid S comes with a 2.5mm sync port for a wired connection.

Effective Battery Power & Other Highlights

Powered by an included 7.2V, 2200mAh lithium rechargeable battery and providing a recycle time of 1.7 seconds, the V1mid S allows 650 full-power flashes and flash duration between 1/600 and 1/20,000 sec. Another highlight is a built-in 2W LED modeling lamp with 5300K (+/-200K) colour temperature and adjustable brightness (1-10). Battery indicators on the display panel inform you of the remaining battery level. Here, Godox includes the USB-C charging cable and adapter in the box.
