Godox UL QR Recta Bowens Softbox with Grid

Godox wants to make your lighting setup easier by launching the Rectangular Umbrella-Style Softbox with Bowens Mount. This rectangular shaped softbox has an intuitive design that simplifies your process in the studio or on the go. The umbrella-style mechanism allows you to quickly open the softbox, break down, and keep moving. Good for various types of photo or video work, this softbox renders a flattering quality of light while providing directional control of the output when combined with the included grid. The modifier features a popular standard Bowens mount that fits a wide range of fixtures. The UL series is well-suited for wedding, editorial, or location work.

Umbrella Style Design

The umbrella-style design allows you to set it up and break it down quickly. The softbox opens as easily as an umbrella and closes just as quickly. A side zipper allows you to access and deploy the softbox without removing the included white inner baffle and outer diffuser.

Removable Deflector Plate & Diffusers

This softbox features a deflector plate that transforms into a beauty dish-style modifier if needed. This allows you to achieve a similar punchy effect to a beauty dish rather than a softbox. It also comes with a white inner baffle and an outer diffuser for soft, even illumination.

Silver Interior & Grid

The reflective silver interior maximises the output while evenly distributing the light. The softbox is offered with a removable grid that eliminates spill light and provides the necessary directional control for selective lighting.

Optional Accessories

Godox also offers an optional edge mask that blocks the center of the softbox for a more controlled contour light. The light spills from the softbox edges, producing crisp and refined highlights. The optional edge mask is ideal for product photography, fashion editorials, and commercial still life work.

Wide Compatibility

The UL series is fully compatible with Bowens mount strobes and LEDs, but can also work with specific Godox, Profoto, and other mounting systems using an optional adapter. Godox offers an optional speed ring for the Godox mount, a Profoto mount adapter, as well as a Broncolor one. Kayell also offers additonal mount adaptors for Elinchrom
