Godox KNOWLED AM1600R RGB Inflatable LED Light Mat (8 x 8')

Distinctive, foldable, quick to assemble, and bigger, the 8 x 8' KNOWLED AM1600R RGB Inflatable LED Light Mat from Godox offers a versatile and advanced full-colour lighting solution for large-scale film and television studios. This AM1600R version has an expanded 8 x 8' body that exceeds the size of its 4 x 8' model, and although it's heavier, it comes with a soft film accessory and two diffusers. It is made to suit even larger production sets by providing smooth and diffused illumination. At the heart of the AM1600R is a durable inflatable butterfly frame that does not require any truss support for overhead use. This IP54-rated light allows for 8-PSI high-pressure quick inflation and can be suspended for up to 15 days without reinflation. But that's only the beginning of the features of this KNOWLED series professional fixture. The AM1600R has multiple lighting modes and allows CCT selection from a wide 1800 to 10,000K, as well as +/- green/magenta colour correction. Not only the soft film and diffusers, the light is packed with various other modifiers such as a pancake lantern, a grid, and a skirt to meet the different needs of lighting designers. Godox includes the air pump and other essential accessories in a robust flight case.

Colour Modes, Precise Dimming & Power

The AM1600R enables precise management of colour with CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, and FX modes, as well as green/magenta shift from -100 to +100% for precise tint control. Set the intensity with thousand-bit brightness adjustment from 0 to 100% and access four dimming curves-linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic. Users can also choose among default, smooth, and off smoothing settings. The light operates in conjunction with the included controller box and conveniently runs on universal 100 to 240 VAC for worldwide use.

Advanced Control Methods

Developed to meet the needs of the most demanding productions, the AM1600R is compatible with multiple industry-standard and advanced control methods, such as wired DMX512, RDM, or wireless LumenRadio CRMX. In addition, Ethernet control supports the Art-Net and sACN protocols. If you are working in less demanding setups, use the included controller box with NFC connectivity for easy and quick onboard operation. Besides that, the AM1600R can be controlled via Bluetooth using the Godox Light or Godox KNOWLED apps from up to 196' away.

Multi Lighting Sync & 14 Effects

Other advantages are multi-lighting sync, real-time adjustments, and various effects for lighting simulations in complex environments. Choose from flash, lightning, cloudy, broken bulb, TV, candle, fire, firework, explosion, welding, cop car, SOS, RGB cycle, and party preprogrammed lighting effects from the light's handy FX mode.

Versatile & Expandable Structure

A versatile design supports customised setups, while its foldable light body improves mobility. The light can be rigged safely without truss support, delivering a reliable solution for large-scale soft lighting on set. Touch fasteners and D-rings on the back of the light body ensure easy connection for extended panel structures.

IP54 Rating & Exceptional Airtightness

The AM1600R is rated at IP54 for both the light and the controller. This ensures protection from dust in challenging outdoor and indoor scenarios. The light was engineered with structural strength for scratch and abrasion resistance and airtightness. But if necessary, Godox's included repair kit ensures quick fixes. Fix any leaks in the inflatable butterfly frame with no further complications.

Efficient Shape with Multiple Accessories

Experience secure rigging for up to 15 days without deformation or reinflation, meaning the AM1600R will maintain its shape to improve your workflow on set. You won't need to waste time assembling and disassembling the light from the ceiling. Godox includes various detachable accessories that can be used individually or together to offer maximum flexibility and creative options for any scenario. Two stackable diffuser cloths are provided with different diffusion levels for varied softness. A grid and a skirt also enable directionality and spill control. This model also includes a soft film to expand your options.
