Gitzo SYSTEMATIC Series 5 Flat Top Plate

Gitzo SYSTEMATIC Series 5 Flat Top Plate

This SYSTEMATIC Series 5 Flat Top Plate from Gitzo is the same as the one that comes as standard with new Gitzo Systematic Series 5 tripods. It can mount a flat photographic or video head, or any other equipment with a 3/8" female thread.

The machined ring on the underside of the plate is compatible with the safety catch feature of Gitzo's updated Systematic range, offering secure, accident-proof support, even during changeovers of center components. The bottom of the plate also features a hook that allows weights or bags to be hung under the tripod for greater stability of the tripod.

Mount Flat Photo/Video Heads Or 3/8" Thread Equipment

This plate can mount any "flat-based" compatible photo or video head. In addition to these, it can accommodate any other equipment with a 3/8" female thread.

Gitzo Safety Catch Compatible Ring

The ring underneath the top of the plate is compatible with Gitzo's safety catch locking feature provided in their updated Systematic range of tripods. It provides secure, accident-proof support, which is especially important when swapping out center components.

Built-In Bottom Weight & Bag Hook

For further security and stability, the bottom of the plate has a built-in hook that lets you hang weights or heavy bags from under the tripod.
