With a full-frame DFOV of 100 Degree , the 18 mm focal length can include more information, making it highly useful for capturing the grandeur of larger subjects like mountains and architecture. Additionally, when closely approaching a subject, the ultra-wide angle can introduce an added visual tension. Its high sharpness and well-controlled chromatic aberration also allow the lens to record 8K imagery with richer details and true-to-life colours.
