The GH5M2 features a 20.3MP MOS sensor enhanced with an Anti-Reflection (AR) coating for uncompromising image detail and superior colour reproduction for both still images and video.

5-Axis, 6.5-stop Dual I.S. 2 Image Stabiliser

The GH5M2 improves on its image sharpness and video stability with a 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 Image Stabiliser that combines control of the Body I.S. and Lens O.I.S. to offer 6.5 stops worth of correction.*
*Based on the CIPA standard [Yaw/Pitch direction: focusing distance f=140mm (35mm camera equivalent f=280mm) when H-FS14140 is used.

C4K/4K 60p/50p 10-bit Internal/External Recording

Simultaneous C4K/4K 60p/50p 4:2:0 10-bit internal recording and C4K/4K 60p/50p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI live output external recording are supported for maximum image quality and post-production versatility.

Wireless live streaming / USB-tethering (RTMP/RTMPS)

Easy wireless live streaming (RTMP/RTMPS protocol) by simply setting it up with the LUMIX Sync app (Android/iOS). Firmware version 1.1 adds the USB tethering function, which allows you to connect the camera to your smartphone via USB cable for live streaming. This makes it easier to ensure stable communication speed even in environments with a lot of radio interference and will enable streaming in 4K 30p/25p.
ļ½„Live streaming to the platforms that comply with RTMP/RTMPS is basically possible (Compatibility with all the platforms is not guaranteed.) There may be the cases where the live streaming is not possible when the service of the platform changes. For more information, please refer to the terms and conditions of the platform.

Wired live streaming (RTP/RTSP)

With Firmware version 1.1, IP streaming via wired LAN connection can be selected, increasing the convenience in indoor environments where highly stable communication is possible. By connecting the camera to a PC with a wired LAN cable, it is possible to control multiple cameras or stream high quality video and audio up to 4K 60p/50p. H.264 and H.265 codecs can be selected.

*A commercially available USB ethernet adaptor is required to convert the DC-GH5M2's USB Type C terminal to a LAN terminal. Compatibilities of USB ethernet adapter: https://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/connect/ethernet_adp/index.html

USB Power Supply / Power Charging

Convenient during long shoots in the studio and elsewhere, this feature allows you to supply power to the camera. When used in combination with the separately sold battery charger DMW-BTC15 (USB Power Delivery standard compliant), the battery can be charged while simultaneously supplying power.*
* Battery must be installed in camera and retain some charge for feature to work.

Autofocus Featuring AI Technology

High-speed, high-precision autofocus is combined with deep learning artificial intelligence technology for near-instant recognition of human faces, eyes, heads and bodies. An animal recognition mode has also been added for superior accuracy in pet and wildlife photography.
