It's a great next addition to your kit, covering from everyday snapshots, to sports, wildlife and travel with up to 3.8x times zoom. Shoot with confidence even when light levels drop. The RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM has 4.5 stop Image Stabilization and in conjunction with selected EOS R series camera, can achieve up to 7.0 stops coordinated control IS. Shoot handheld in dim light or while using slower shutter speeds without the need of a tripod.

As well as an increased focal length at the telephoto end, the RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM has a minimum focusing distance of 73cm allowing you to use the lens for close up photography to capture beautiful details.

IDEAL FOR VIDEO AND VLOGGING

The RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM is equipped with a lead-screw type stepping motor (STM) to allow for smooth and quiet autofocus, making a great option for video content. It also works hand-in-hand with cameras equipped with focus breathing correction, allowing you to adjust focus without altering the field of view.
