Prints made with this ink cartridge are abrasion and scratch resistant thanks to the advanced employed technology utilised to create permanent, long-lasting adherence to the media. This also helps the printer deal with larger volumes of work, and also it's easier to handle and transport the finished media.

The technology incorporated to manufacture the image is known widely as thermal inkjet technology. The nozzle section houses a mini heating element which when switched on by the printer processor, expands the ink in the cartridge nozzle and forces it out into a micro-droplet form onto the paper.
