The print quality, saturation, bleed levels, clarity and additional vividness produced by this Canon PFI-1000PC Photo Magenta Lucia ink cartridge is outstanding. It represents a quantum shift in terms of quality and affordability for Canon in this wide format printing market.

Prints output is remarkably durable and highly resistant to abrasions and scratches thanks to the inclusion of silicone oil in the ink formulation. This also helps to ensure high-speed production is can be maintained without any detriment to quality. It also makes the paper handling easier and without restrictions.

Advanced ink droplet technology used in the printer and the cartridge improves saturation, balance and the correct uniform mixture of all the inks utilised.

This particular Lucia PRO photo cyan ink, like others in the Lucia range, has been specially formulated to so as to produce only professional quality images and with a much wider dynamic range compared than others in this market space.

The electromechanical technology utilised for producing the print is known as thermal inkjet. The ink is formed into a bubble-like droplet and is then applied to the media page by using a heated element to expand the ink from a cartridge through a number of fine print head nozzles. This application creates images at superior resolution levels compared to other types of print technologies like laser and dot matrix type printing engines.

The ink system, although underpinned by conventional inkjet technology, has been finely tuned by Canon to reduce the bronzing effect that is often seen and tolerated in photo type finishes, making it an ideal choice for the professional artist or photographer. Furthermore, this advanced image processing system intelligently corrects the balance and mixture of inks to further assist with quality output and production speed.

The cartridge comes with a large 80ml ink volume tank, so you'll get to print a lot more between changes. Plus you'll avoid the hassle of running out prematurely and get greater longevity between cartridge changes. This helps minimise waste and increases productivity to enhance total cost efficiency.
