The Canon Lens Cap for EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM Lens has a spring-loaded center-pinch design, allowing you to squeeze the center and snap the cap onto the Canon lens. In addition, the lens cap can also fit inside the lens hood when the hood is attached to the lens or onto filters of 4.9cm in diameter. The cap will protect the front lens element from moisture, debris, and finger smudges. It can be used as a spare or replacement.
