The print technology utilised to form the image and text with these Canon GI-63R ink bottle is called as thermal inkjet. An integrated print head mechanism draws ink from the bottle and then produces microscopic pico-litre size ink droplets by using a heated element to expand the ink through a series of tiny nozzles and onto the sheet of paper. Prints have a rich look and with superior resolution, levels compared to other types of print technologies like laser and dot matrix type printing engines.

Designed to be used in select Canon Pixma Megatank series of inkjet office and multifunction printers and devices. The print quality produced with this ink bottle is what we've come to expect from Canon. Maximum quality professional results, high performance and unparalleled reliability producing consistent volumetric output and for the modern office, school or organisation.

The GI-63R ink has been blended and formulated from an array of different organic elements by Canon's chemists and laboratory engineers with a definitive focus producing ink that has the highest saturation and lowest bleed levels in order to achieve the best possible print results.

Prints produced exhibit fantastic levels of robustness and resistance to smudging and fading making them easy to handle, durable and long-lasting.

Perfect for a whole host of various printing applications including photos, artwork, report writing professional documentation and more. At 5% coverage, the ink bottle is capable of producing up to 8000 pages.
