Dedicated to the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens, the ET-155B Short Lens Hood helps to minimise flare by deflecting stray light from entering the lens. The hood also provides additional protection to the lens from accidental impacts, bumps, or scratching. This hood is shorter in length than the standard hood that is included with the lens, and offers a less obtrusive profile, albeit with some sacrifice to the overall amount of shading it provides.
